Okay I know this isn't a good picture at ALL, but Angie wanted me to get a shot of him like this. I was in a dark bedroom and was trying hard to not use a flash. Well, my shudder speed was so low that I really needed a tripod for this shot and I didn't have one, so...I ended up with a blurry and grainy picture. I'm just wanting to know though what you all think...Black and White? Color? My weird one? Which edited version is better?? Please leave me a comment with what you think.
This is just a shot with the flash and a lower ISO...just didn't have him framed right at all! :( Too bad....

Absolutely ADORABLE!! He just looks so perfect!! I really like the black and white one best....but of course that is coming from a person that doesn't know a fig about photography. :P
Love you!
I like the first and second....very sweet pictures!
Hannah
I think the second one is really nice. The picture and pose doesn't really look all that bad to me.
Now the last one you posted (with the flash)...lets just say the first ones are better :)
I think the black and white is the best. They are all good though.
have you done any pictures in photoshop that are both color and B&W? I think you might get another good pic if you did that to make the baby stand out a bit more. And I jus think it would look cool! LOL
Thanks Everyone...
@Bigbro..do you mean one layer in B&W and one layer with color?? If so, that's what I did on the second one. Do you have any tips to get the baby to actually stand out more though?
Thanks for all the comments! :)
Man, he is soooo cute!
I really like the black and white one the best - I'm thinking it would work with a slight vignette, then with the film grain it might look vintage. What do you think?
Well what I am talking about is how I have seen some pictures are part b&w and part color... Like if the baby was black and white and the blanket and background were color or the other way around. The only thing is I do not know how to do that in photoshop yet. LOL.
hi!
I found your blog through homeschool alumni. I saw that you had a link to my friend Courtney Cumbest's photo blog. =) Love the photos. Your nephew is too cute.

I think the b/w is great. Don't apologize for grain. It adds texture and drama sometimes. Nothing wrong with that! Do you have any actions in your photoshop that you are using? There are a couple that I use on almost every picture that are extremely useful to help your picture 'pop' a little more. But I don't know if you have them available to you.
You are doing GREAT! Keep it up!

I like the black and white one best. I always tell people that if you just love the photo, even though it didn't turn out so "technically" great, make it artwork (antique, grained, b/w) and then they will never know that you didn't mean to do it.
Your work is nice and I especially enjoy your love for Jesus Christ. That is a second thing we have in common. ♥=+
Hey, Danielle if you go to my blog and look at the post called "Blue Eyed Girl" you can see what I was talking about making a picture part color and part b&w.
Well I am not 100% sure I do it the right way, but all I do is change the picture to b&w in photoshop, and then use my "history brush" to re-color what ever I want in color.
