BIG NEWS- Part2!!!!!!

Well I am SOOO thrilled to announce that Grace Creations Photography now has an active WEBSITE!!!! I LOVE IT!!! Aaron, my Dad's cousins husband, did it for me!! He did a fantastic job I think and it's set up perfectly! :) Please Please PLEASE check it out and let me know what you think! There is still alot that I have to do. I shouldn't even be launching the site until I've got the other pages up but well..I was too excited! :) There are some photos in the galleries and also he has set it up where I can create users for each "client" I have. That way the pictures aren't public to everyone. If I do a session with the family I just create them a user and they login and are able to view all the pictures! :)

I did pictures for Aaron's family actually last night so they were my first "session" to add! It's so great, I seriously love this website! :) CHECK IT OUT!

The pages that are missing will be a "Pricing" page of course and then a "Services" page. That way I can let everyone know it's not just photography I'll be doing, but scanning, video transfer, some design work and just other small jobs. :)

It's Coming....

Remember there was a Part 2 of my BIG NEWS??? I know I know, you may have forgotten because it's been SO long but....be looking for it, because later today I will be POSTING IT!!! :)

I'm so excited, but a friend helped me realize that this news you guys may already know! :D So...it may not be that exciting to you. ;) Just act like you forgot I kinda already told so it will be a surprise!! I get confused with having two blogs and well...I think I mentioned this "Part 2" on there without thinking! :)

Part 1 of my BIG NEWS!!!

Okay, well the time has come to post my pictures and tell you the first part of my big news! :) Alright, I must say first that this may not seem like big news to you all or any of you for that matter, but to me it's great news! :) I guess being a photographer and trying to start my own business this is a HUGE necessity and the Lord provided it!!!! :)
Soooo...for my news! I GOT AN EPSON PHOTO PRINTER!!!!!!! Okay, don't be mad, YES it is JUST a printer, but c'mon guys, now I can cut all my cost of using the lab and print at home!!! :) This printer is SOOO nice, it will print my notecards for me, print on canvas, well it will print on most anything. I'm very sad to say that I do not have the USB cord I need to even hook it up tonight, but I was successful in loading the cartridges and plugging it in! ;) Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get the cord AND paper and start printing! :)

I need to say a big thanks to my grandparents who were so kind to even buy me this printer!!!! THANKS!!!! :)

(I was pretty excited seeing 'Grace Creations' on the shipping label! Too bad they spelled my NAME wrong, that's why there is a space between the n and the i) :)

(Due to lack of space right now, my printer is sitting on the floor underneath my computer desk. We are going to try to set me up an "office" in the unfinished part of our business so I can move all my business stuff in there)

Okay, so I'm getting ready to post part one of my news today!!! :) I have to run and get Lane from school and then I plan to "unpack" and get pictures so I can post them on my blog for you all to see my BIG NEWS!!! :)

Can you tell I'm just a bit excited, the truth is...it's not that exciting to you all, so don't get your hopes up!!! :)

Okay, so I shouldn't have posted my BIG NEWS thing yet, since it's taking a few more days then planned. :) Actually the first bit of information will be coming tomorrow I think! :) The bigger news though may be a week or so.

So you all know though, the news is NOT that I'm GETTING MARRIED!! :D Whoever wrote THAT comment, knew I wasn't! ;) (besh!) ;) I mean, maybe one day I'll get married, Lord willing, but that is not the news I was about to share with you all! :) Anyway...that kind of news would be posted on my other blog, not this one! :)

This is MUCH overdue, but I wanted to post a few of these pictures before going to bed tonight. I have tons and tons more, but wanted to at least but these three up. Also, I have a lot more pictures to put up soon too, so check back! :)

Messing With Photoshop

Well, due to health problems and just life problems, I've not been doing TOO many pictures. :) Today though, I did experiement more with self portraits. I guess I didn't post any of them before, I don't really like seeing MY picture on this blog! ;) Anyway, I did think I'd post two pictures real quick though...it's not a good picture, but thought I'd show you what I did in Photoshop. Nothing fancy, just took a majorly dark photo (my fault, didn't have my settings right) so I just basically lit it up in PS. :)

These are kind of blurry...but wanted to post them anyway! :) I was REALLY close to him, wonder if that's why his eyes were buggin' out! :D

HANAH!

Well today I took a few more pictures of Hanah. I still can't seem to figure out how the focusing thing works. I'll read more in the manual today, but that's one feature I do NOT like if I have to set my focus point by looking at the screen and not through the lens. :( We'll see though....here are some of the pics! I messed around in editing also, so some look kinda weird.









Also, today I took the time to go through everything that came in the box and organized it in my NEW camera case!!! :) I'm not sure I did it all right, it came with tons of foam stuff, so I sort of tore it apart and made my own compartments! :) Here's a picture of it with most stuff in it! The open space to the right is where my camera goes! :)

MY CAMERA ARRIVED!!!

It's HERE!!! I was SO excited today as the door bell rang and the FedEx guy was there holding the box with my camera in it!!! :) YAY! Finally to have my own camera and knowing I wont have to give it back or anything is just great! :) I'm so thankful the Lord allowed me to be able to get this camera! :) I hope I can use it for His glory.

Well, when it arrived Hanah was asleep and Logan was at school so I unfortunately had no models! :( But, when he got home and of course after homework was done we went on a nature hike and I of course got some photos! :) Now, just so you all know, I didn't pick these outfits out and Hanah had just gotten up from nap. So I hope none of you are offended, but I think she looks quite cute! :)

These are just some of the ones I took. None have been edited yet and I'm still learning to use this camera, I'll need some help figuring it all out. For some reason the focus points are so different, to set them is very odd, haven't gotten it down yet. :(

(I told Hanah to make a sad face here, she sure did good! :D )
